Privacy policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
We only keep the data we need to provide the service. Here we explain what it is, what we use it for and what you can do about it.
1. Who handles the data
CDNPEER, the service that operates this website and the panel. For any privacy matter, write to us from the contact page.
2. Your account data
- Your email address and, if you provide it, your name.
- Your password, stored only as an encrypted fingerprint (hash): nobody can read it, not even us.
- Your projects and domains, your plan, your daily usage, your orders, payments and balance, and who referred you if you arrived through an affiliate link.
- The date of your last login. Panel sessions do not store your IP address.
- If an administrator changes something in your account (plan, balance, domains…), who did it and when is recorded.
3. Data about the viewers of your websites
The CDNPEER script sends technical playback reports to the panel: channel, device type (based on the browser), network type, P2P and server traffic, connected neighbors and stalls.
- The viewer's IP address is used on the fly to determine their country and internet provider, and to stop abuse. It is not stored.
- Statistics are stored in aggregate (per minute, domain, channel, country, device and network), with no IP addresses or data that identify a person, for a limited time.
- As with any P2P connection over WebRTC, the browsers of viewers connected to each other can see each other's IP address, just like in a video call. If you use CDNPEER on your website, let your viewers know in your own privacy policy.
4. Cookies and browser storage
- The panel uses a single cookie, the session cookie, which is needed to keep you logged in (it lasts until you log out or 30 days at most).
- The panel's language and light/dark theme are remembered in your browser's local storage, not in cookies.
- The public pages (including this one) use no cookies, analytics tools or advertising.
5. Emails
We send you service emails: confirming your account, changing your password, payments received and usage or plan-expiry notices. They are sent through Brevo, our email delivery provider, which only uses them to deliver them.
6. Payments
Payments are made on public blockchains (BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, Ethereum and Bitcoin): the sending address, the amount and the transaction hash are public by nature. We store them with your order to activate it and to resolve any claim. We never ask for or store private keys, seed phrases or bank details.
7. Contact form
If you write to us, we use your name, email address, subject and message only to reply to you. Your IP address is used on the fly to limit abusive submissions and is not stored.
8. Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent data. Only the providers needed to run the service are involved (server hosting, network and email delivery), and the authorities when the law requires it.
9. How long we keep data
Your account data, for as long as the account exists. When it is closed the data is deleted, except order and payment records that we must keep for legal obligations or to resolve claims. Aggregate statistics are deleted after a while.
10. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it (you can change your name yourself in the panel), delete it by closing your account or object to a specific use. Write to us from the contact page using your account's email address, so we know it's you.
11. Security
Everything goes over HTTPS, passwords are stored as hashes, the session cookie cannot be read from JavaScript and administrators' actions are logged.
12. Minors
CDNPEER is a service for businesses and creators; it is not directed at minors.
13. Changes
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with its date and announce important changes in the panel or by email. See also our terms of service.
